About
The Gramercy Pilates Institute is the educational arm of the Gramercy Pilates NYC Certification School. It is the most highly acclaimed and recommended Pilates Teacher Training Certification School in New York.
The Certification Program combines the kinesiological principles developed by Joseph Pilates with new science and information from the 21st century
Gramercy Pilates NYC was founded by owner and director Ernie Fossa in 2009. He has over 20 years of Pilates education and experience working with the best Classical and Contemporary mentors in the industry. Ernie has trained and graduated hundreds of amazing Pilates teachers.
Ernie’s deep desire- to train prospective Pilates enthusiasts to become excellent Pilates teachers led him to create this specialized and comprehensive Teacher Training Program. This Program goes far beyond what most other Programs offer today. It doesn’t just teach Pilates exercises, it clearly explains "how and why" Pilates exercises really work based on real movement science applied to Pilates exercises.
What's more, included in the Program are in-depth lecture sections that are typically only found in continuing educational courses like Anatomy, Biomechanics, Special Client Facilitation and Special Populations.
